	M.S. in Civil Engineering, University of Florida, 1977; B.S. in Civil Engineering, North Carolina State University, 1975. Before joining NSAI in 1991, Tom was an Operations Engineer with GLG Energy L.P.; Senior Staff Engineer with Wacker Oil Inc.; Area Manager with Transco Exploration Company; and Supervising Engineer with Exxon Company, U.S.A. In addition to oil and gas reserve estimations, notably for Gulf of Mexico and domestic CBM clients, Tom has an extensive background in domestic and international surface and subsurface operations and has considerable experience in providing expert witness testimony.
